! $$ Search engine optimization (SEO) $$ !
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it "ranks," the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.
The acronym "SEO" can also refer to "search engine optimizers," a term adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house. Search engine optimizers may offer SEO as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, SEO tactics may be incorporated into web site development and design. The term "search engine friendly" may be used to describe web site designs, menus, content management systems and shopping carts that are easy to optimize.
Another class of techniques, known as black hat SEO or Spamdexing, use methods such as link farms and keyword stuffing that degrade both the relevance of search results and the user-experience of search engines. Search engines look for sites that employ these techniques in order to remove them from their indices.

SEO is a very big industry in today’s world.
SEO is a very big industry in today’s world. But without the proper exposure this industry has lagged behind and has not been recognized for all it has done in the internet circle. The entire SEO setup has really been very low profile and hasn’t been given the attention it deserves. If not for SEO, the search engines would not have existed. Nearly 80% of internet traffic today begins at a search engine. Everyone search their favorite and most wanted articles and information through search engines.
The SEO industry is certainly growing and going places. Today, the industry is getting its due credit and recognition by the industry. According to many experts, many people use search engines for simple navigation. In such a scenario we very well come to know the importance of search engines in today’s world.
Search engines are here to stay. However, there was a time when people did not know much about search engines. Since Google came into the picture, search engines have developed a new meaning all-together. SEO has played a major role and brought many more people to the search engines. Thus, the industry has grown bigger and is still growing. This is where AD Age came into the picture, brought into notice the basic function of SEO and taken it to everyone’s attention. In the process, it has also given SEO the due credit that it deserves for bringing such a revolution in the search engine industry.
